Art For A Change
Are you an artist who wants to make art about social and environmental issues?
Are you an activist who wants to express a message more creatively?
This interdisciplinary Open Studio/Forum/Network/’small group of concerned citizens’ will focus on making art about issues that affect the common good. Whether you are making a poster, banner, installation, or performance piece (and whether you are working alone or with others), this on-going series of workshops will provide the space, materials, and feedback (from each other) to help support your work.
Art For A Change will meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month (starting October, 2011) from 6pm-9pm (potluck at 6pm.)
There is no set fee for participation. Suggested donation: $15
No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Please note: The Art Garden, as a public charity, cannot lobby or support any political candidate. All views expressed are those of participants.

Your whole blog is a work of art! Love to see this calendar so I know when I can stop by…and create something.
With love and support for you…and Zeek, too!
This site is spilling over with creative energy. In addition to being fun to read, there is lots of info. The hardest thing is what do I do next.
The Art Garden is such a warm and creative space. We are lucky to have such a wonderful place in our town.
