Workshop for Adults

Participants will create their own unique valentines using simple book-making techniques and the myriad of ideas and materials provided by The Art Garden (as well as inspiration from each other!)
All materials included. Bring photocopies of personally relevant images if you’d like (photos of loved ones, poems you love, pictures of places and things your valentines care about, etc.) RSVP requested! (413) 625-2782

Our sliding scale drop-in rate is
$5 – $10 per hour per person

ACRYLIC PAINTING 2
to: Participants are encouraged to pursue their own creative journeys through the painting process, exploring subjects and ways of working that are personally meaningful. Exercises are designed to inspire diverse responses.
too: We will also experiment with painting over and with other media (fabric, photocopies, different surfaces.)
This 4-week class meets Thursdays from noon-2pm, starting February 9th.
The class is facilitated by artist-director, Jane Beatrice Wegscheider. Jane has an MFA in Painting from the Chicago Art Institute.

sponsored by the Salasin Project’s Women’s Resource Center
starts Tuesday February 7th, 9:30 – 11:30 am.
Through the creative process of writing and art-making, this group provides a safe place for women to share strengths, stories and experiences surrounding self-image and nourishment on many levels: body, mind and soul.
Registration is required before Tuesday.
