The Art Garden is pleased (and grateful!) to announce
our upcoming week-long summer programming for children and teens.
All of our programs are collaborations; with other artists, educators,
and our youth leadership group.
The Art Garden, Shelburne Falls Yoga, and The Handle Factory Community Clay Studio are collaborating again to offer:
Clay, Yoga & Art and Clay & Art
Participants will start the morning with clay classes in the Handle Factory, followed by mid-day movement at Shelburne Falls Yoga and mixed-media art-making at The Art Garden. Participants are escorted to each activity and eat their bag lunches at The Art Garden. Snacks are provided.

The Art Garden, Wilder Brook Farm, and environmental educator Robin Huntley are excited to yet again offer:
FARM & ART
a hands-on, nature-based summer youth program.
August 1 – 5, 2022
Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm
at Wilder Brook Farm, a picturesque organic farm in East Charlemont.
Program facilitators, John Hoffman, Robin Huntley, Jane Beatrice Wegscheider and 4 teen mentors will guide participants (ages 7 – 14 +) as they explore the farm’s gardens, fields, woods, and stream while learning to experience the natural world as an artist, a farmer, and a naturalist.
Each day will include individual and collaborative artmaking, harvest and preparation of food, and exploration of the farm’s varied landscape.
This is a pay-what-you-can program for children ages 7 – 14.
Four paid teen mentors will co-facilitate the program.
Pay-what-you-can cost is $100 – $350*.
* No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
